Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist
Dr. Saleem has been practicing Psychiatry in the Greater Richmond area for over 20 years. His training includes psychiatric training at MCP/Hahnemann University (now Drexel University) in Philadelphia, PA and the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. He completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Yale University in New Haven, CT. During his time at Yale he conducted research and was a sub-editor for a review book in psychiatry. Dr. Saleem is Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult psychiatry.
Dr. Saleem specializes in treating patients 18 and older for a variety of psychiatric issues including, but not limited to: depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, panic disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, impulse control disorders, cognitive disorders, and memory problems. His training also includes the treatment of depression with the Neurostar TMS therapy system which he has been actively providing since 2014. Dr. Saleem is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and Virginia Psychiatric Society.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Donna is accepting new patients at Midlothian Behavioral Health Associates. She is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who completed her Master of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has an interest in treating adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders.
Donna has many years of nursing experience working in various areas, such as maternity, NICU, ICU, step-down units, and cardiac catheterization laboratory. She also had the opportunity to work with veterans for over 10 years. Although her experiences range from well mothers and babies to chronic diseases, Donna realized during this journey there was one commonality or goal that was consistent with the diversified population she cared for over the years. This commonality was the desire not only for physical wellness but the need for mental wellness and support.

Licensed Professional Counselor
Erin is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings. Erin received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and later went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Psychological Services-Counseling at Marymount University. Erin specializes in working with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, childhood abuse / trauma, substance use disorders, and general life stressors. She adopts a strengths-based, solution focused, holistic approach using mindfulness and cognitive behavioral techniques. Erin builds therapeutic relationships based on positive regard and authenticity in order to collaborate with clients to create change and improve well-being.
